Vivo is expanding beyond China with its upcoming X300 Ultra smartphone, revealed at Mobile World Conference 2026. The device boasts a 200MP telephoto sensor, building on the success of the X300 Pro. Vivo is targeting pro photographers and videographers with the new phone. An impressive 400mm equivalent lens accessory, the Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, allows for enhanced zoom capabilities. The X300 Ultra will offer features like gimbal-grade image stabilization and motion-tracking focus. SmallRig is collaborating with Vivo to make a pro-grade camera cage with extra features. The phone will feature advanced video capabilities, including Log video recording and support for ACES color science. It will be the first in the series to be available in international markets, including Europe. Vivo aims to capture a larger share of the global premium smartphone market. Pricing details are yet to be disclosed, but the phone will be in the premium price range.
