WEF Said Eat Bugs... While Klaus Schwab Billed The Forum For Massages And Moët: Leaked Investigation

An internal investigation is underway at the World Economic Forum regarding Klaus Schwab's alleged misconduct. The investigation was prompted by a whistleblower complaint and is being conducted by a Swiss law firm. Preliminary findings accuse Schwab of inappropriate behavior, including suggestive remarks to female staff and questionable spending. He is accused of using Forum funds for personal travel exceeding $1.1 million and manipulating the Global Competitiveness Report. Schwab allegedly fostered a culture of intimidation and fear, allowing harassment and discrimination to occur. He denies the allegations and maintains his actions were within established guidelines or reimbursements were made. The investigation includes interviews with over 50 current and former employees and will be delivered to the board of trustees. Investigators also scrutinized spending on Villa Mundi and other expenses, like the Schwabs' use of a Forum-funded driver. Schwab is accused of trying to pressure staff to improve India's ranking and reduce the U.K.'s. The findings pose a significant challenge to the reputation of Schwab and the World Economic Forum.
