I recently came across a chicken burrito recipe online, and the recipe mentioned adding an avocado leaf while preparing the beans. I live in an area where avocado leaves are pretty hard to find, so I was wondering what purpose they actually serve. Do they add a specific flavour or aroma to the beans, or is there another reason for using them?
