Siri AI will not be available on all Apple home devices at launch, causing some confusion. HomeView and the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K will receive Siri AI on November 13. Later, the third and second-generation Apple TV 4K models will gain support through tvOS 17.2. The new HomePod mini 2 will ship without Siri AI, with a future software update planned. Contrary to some reports, the original HomePod mini and the original HomePod will not have Siri AI. Similarly, older Apple TV models, the original Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, will not support it. To use Siri AI on supported home devices, the primary user needs an Apple Intelligence enabled iPhone or iPad set to a supported language. Initial Siri AI functionality for HomeView, Apple TV 4K, and HomePod mini 2 will be English-only and restricted to specific countries. Due to restrictions, Siri AI will not be available in the EU for iPhones, iPads, or home devices. Apple is currently referring to Siri AI as being in beta.
