Wild Grape Leaves For Pickles?

I'm just a dude who has a wild grape plant in his back yard. I know that grape leaves are used in pickles, and want to use those leaves for picked making. They would be washed thoroughly before being used. Any reasoning this wouldnt work? submitted by /u/ballskindrapes
