Would it be considered a faux pas to ask a restaurant to further break down their "whole" or "half" rotisserie chicken, to order?

Not sure if this is the right sub, but we frequent a restaurant who pride themselves as a rotisserie chicken joint. They have whole and half birds on the menu, which come out as such on a plate, with sides. Issue is, we have a bit of the "ick" (and tbh general technical ignorance) over breaking down birds. Would it be crazy to order the half bird and ask them to further break it down into breast/wing/thigh/drumstick? submitted by /u/LNHDT
