13 hands-on demos to build on Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform
Google has released 13 demos showcasing the capabilities of its Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. This platform allows for building, scaling, governing, and optimizing AI agents. Developers can install the Agents CLI into their preferred coding agent, granting it immediate expertise in the ADK and Agent Platform. By describing desired agents in plain English, developers can have their coding agents scaffold, evaluate, deploy, and monitor these agents directly from their editor. The demos cover various aspects, starting with building foundational agents using the code-first ADK, including conversational agents and event-driven approval agents with human-in-the-loop workflows. They also demonstrate connecting agents to data sources via the Model Context Protocol and creating dynamic, visual user interfaces with Agent-to-UI. Scaling capabilities include deploying stateful data science agents to Agent Runtime and building long-running agents that can pause and resume. Governance features focus on securing the agent lifecycle through secure coding practices and controlling agent access with Agent Gateway. Finally, optimization demos highlight driving agent quality through an evaluation flywheel and building cross-language multi-agent pipelines. The platform supports orchestration across different agent frameworks like CrewAI and LangGraph. Developers are encouraged to explore these demos or install the Agents CLI to begin building their own agents.
