Google Meet is rolling out a new, streamlined user interface for several Meet Hardware devices. This update aims to provide a more efficient and intuitive meeting management experience. Key controls like mute and hand raise will be more prominent and easily accessible. More advanced features, such as camera controls and meeting layouts, will be organized under a "More actions" menu. The pre-call experience is also refreshed, making it easier to enter meeting codes or choose between Webex and Zoom. The new touch controller interface will resemble the Google Meet web interface for a familiar feel. This new experience will be enabled by default for eligible devices and no admin control is available. The rollout begins on December 1, 2025, and may take up to 15 days for full visibility. This update is available to all Google Workspace customers with Google Meet hardware. Further resources can be found on Google Help.
