Gemini in Google Meet now simplifies co-presenting Google Slides. Previously a multi-step process, Gemini intelligently suggests a co-presenter in the Ask Gemini panel. With a single click, the main presenter can grant co-presenting access to another participant. This helpful "nudge" appears for the main presenter in Meet if they are using Chrome or Edge browsers. It is triggered when another participant requests to co-present or asks for the next slide. Admins can manage this feature, which is on by default for organizations with Ask Gemini in Meet enabled. End users will only receive the prompt under specific conditions: being the main presenter, using a supported browser, and hearing a trigger phrase in English. This feature is rolling out gradually starting August 31, 2026, for up to 15 days. It is available for Business Standard and Plus, and Enterprise Standard and Plus editions.
