Adding Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to form content in Google Forms

Google Forms now supports Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, allowing administrators to control access to sensitive content in forms. DLP rules can block external individuals from viewing or responding to forms containing sensitive information. Forms content checked by DLP includes questions, titles, descriptions, and answer options, excluding user responses. Administrators can configure DLP rules at the domain, OU, or group level, with block, warn, or audit actions. Block actions prevent external users from viewing or responding to forms with sensitive content. Certain groups or organizational units can be excluded from DLP checks. Nested condition operators can be used to exclude specific forms from DLP rules. End users can respond to forms as usual, but may encounter warnings or be blocked if the form violates DLP rules. DLP for Google Forms is now generally available for Workspace Enterprise Standard, Plus, Essentials Plus, Education Fundamentals, Standard, Plus, Teaching & Learning Upgrade, Frontline Standard, and Cloud Identity Premium editions. Visit the Google Workspace Admin Help Center for more information on using DLP to prevent data loss in Google Forms.
