Amazon has launched two new AI-powered devices, the Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse, designed for continuous conversation recording and analysis. The wearable Bee Frontier, priced at $75, is an updated version of an existing device that can be worn on the wrist or clipped to clothing. It boasts a seven-day battery life and improved noise filtering for clearer audio capture. The $100 Bee Eclipse is a credit card-sized gadget that magnetically attaches to the back of a smartphone. Both devices are capable of transcribing conversations, generating summaries, identifying recurring themes, and suggesting actions or purchases. Amazon emphasizes that audio is never stored long-term, and users have control over deleting their transcripts and summaries. The Bee brand was acquired by Amazon in July 2025. The Bee Frontier is available for purchase immediately. The Bee Eclipse will be released shortly thereafter. These devices aim to provide users with personalized AI assistance by processing their daily interactions.
