Angular v17.2 is now available

Angular v17.2 introduces experimental support for Material 3, a refreshed design system based on the latest Material Design for the Web specification. This release also includes developer preview APIs for signal queries and model inputs, enhancing reactivity and providing type safety for view queries. To improve performance, Angular DevTools now supports hydration debugging, while the NgOptimizedImage directive offers automatic placeholders and Netlify image loader integration. Angular CLI gains Bun package manager support, Vite prebundling control, and custom postcss configuration capabilities. Additionally, the Angular team expresses gratitude for community feedback in shaping these modern APIs. The next major release, Angular v18, is scheduled for May.
