Apple Says It Will Spend $30 Billion To Design US-Made Broadcom Chips

Apple announced a $30 billion investment to design wireless connectivity chips made in the US by Broadcom. This partnership will result in the production of 15 million chips domestically and enable Broadcom to invest $1.5 billion in its Colorado facilities. The initiative is a component of Apple's larger commitment to invest $600 billion through its "American Manufacturing Program." This program aims to significantly expand the company's supply chain and advanced manufacturing operations within the United States.
