Google Slides is updating how arrow keys move objects. Previously, arrow keys moved objects by a large increment, but now they will move objects by a single pixel to allow for finer adjustments. To move objects larger distances with the arrow keys, users will need to hold the Shift key. This change will begin rolling out on August 19, 2025, and will be available to all Google Workspace users and personal Google account holders.
