Admins will now have more granular control over mobile device management privilege delegation. New controls allow assigning privileges for specific organizational units, enhancing security by limiting access. This feature, previously in beta, is now generally available with improved device display for efficient management. Admins can access the Help Center to learn about administrator roles and delegating these new privileges. No action is required from end users. The feature will be fully rolled out across Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains starting June 29, 2026. This update is available to all Google Workspace customers. Resources are available in the Google Workspace Admin Help section for creating OU-specific admin roles and delegating privileges.
