Gemini Notebooks can now be automatically updated with new sources. This new integration allows for recurring workflows to add sources. Previously, this process was manual, requiring individual source additions. The "Add a source to Gemini Notebook" step automates this task. Users can add text, links to Drive files, or web URLs as sources. This ensures Gemini Notebooks stay current with the latest information. For administrators, the step is available by default if Gemini for Google Workspace is permitted. End users can access this feature within Google Workspace Studio. The rollout begins on August 6, 2026, and will take up to 15 business days. This feature is available across various Business, Enterprise, and Education plans.
