BingX EU Secures MiCAR License, Advancing Regulated Crypto Services Across Europe

BingX EU, operating as MEGE zweite GmbH, has obtained its Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) license from Austria’s Financial Market Authority (FMA). This crucial authorization permits BingX EU to offer regulated crypto services across all 29 countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). The license is subject to ongoing passporting arrangements, ensuring compliant operations throughout the region. This milestone signifies a major step in BingX’s European expansion strategy, providing EEA users with secure and transparent digital asset services under a unified regulatory framework. The authorization underscores BingX EU’s commitment to responsible growth and strengthening user trust in the evolving digital asset landscape. Daniel Lai, CEO of BingX EU, emphasized the importance of delivering trusted, locally regulated trading experiences. He stated that operating under MiCAR will provide clarity, support the long-term development of Europe’s digital ecosystem, and combine innovation with high standards of security and transparency. BingX EU will continue close collaboration with the FMA and other European regulators in preparation for launching its regulated services. As a MiCAR-regulated Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP), BingX EU is headquartered in Vienna and will offer regulated broker services, including crypto custody and exchange. Founded in 2018, BingX is a leading multi-asset trading platform serving over 40 million global users and holds partnerships with Chelsea FC and Scuderia Ferrari HP.
