Bombshell Sexual-Harassment Suit Against JPM's Lorna Hajdini Called "Complete Fabrication"

Follow
A former JPMorgan employee, Chirayu Rana, filed a lawsuit under a pseudonym alleging sexual harassment by an executive director, Lorna Hajdini. The lawsuit claimed Hajdini drugged and sexually assaulted him, also threatening his bonus. However, a recent report indicates the claims were likely fabricated. The New York Post reported that an internal JPMorgan investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing. Hajdini denies all accusations, stating she never engaged in inappropriate conduct or even visited the alleged location. Rana initially filed an internal complaint alleging harassment and attempted to negotiate a large payoff. JPMorgan investigated the claims, reviewing evidence and interviewing employees, finding no merit to the allegations. Rana refused to cooperate with the investigation and failed to provide supporting facts. Hajdini and Rana were colleagues, but Rana did not report to her. Colleagues view Hajdini as a top performer, and the fabricated suit damaged her reputation. The story gained traction in some media outlets and on social media, resulting in heightened scrutiny of Hajdini's profile.
