Bringin Opens Euro Business Accounts Built Around Self-Custody Bitcoin
Bringin has launched an invite-only beta for euro business accounts designed for companies utilizing Bitcoin and stablecoins. These accounts provide businesses with a named euro vIBAN and SEPA payment access. Crucially, businesses retain full control of their Bitcoin through self-custody infrastructure. This innovative solution aims to bridge the gap between crypto-native treasury operations and traditional euro banking. The beta is currently being piloted by fifteen businesses across thirty European countries. Bringin's core design choice separates traditional banking access from cryptocurrency custody. Companies can manage euro payments while simultaneously controlling their Bitcoin holdings via self-custody. Private keys are secured within a hardware-isolated enclave, requiring owner authentication for transactions. This distinction is important for Bitcoin-focused businesses seeking financial services without relying on conventional custodial accounts. The platform also integrates Lightning and stablecoin workflows, facilitating seamless transitions between crypto and euro payments. The product addresses the ongoing need for traditional fiat currency transactions for payroll, taxes, and supplier payments, even for crypto companies. Bringin's beta is available across Europe and utilizes infrastructure from Lightspark Payments Europe. While still in beta, this offering attempts to combine self-custodied Bitcoin treasuries with functional euro accounts within a single operational workflow.
