Google Meet and Microsoft Teams video conferencing interoperability is now generally available. This feature was previously in preview and is rolling out to customers. It allows users to join Microsoft Teams meetings from Google Meet hardware devices. Conversely, users can join Google Meet meetings from Microsoft Teams Rooms devices. Both platforms utilize Android (AOSP) based hardware. Administrators can enable this functionality through the Google Workspace Help Center. End users will also find instructions on how to join these third-party meetings. The full rollout for both Rapid and Scheduled Release domains begins on October 1, 2026. This update is available to all Google Workspace customers with compatible Google Meet hardware. The goal is to enhance cross-platform meeting experiences.
