This platform integrates over sixty scientific databases and analytical tools into a unified interface. Basecamp Research is contributing its EDEN models to Claude Science, enabling various applications. These applications include designing novel antibiotic peptides and identifying potential vaccine targets. Users can initiate these complex tasks using simple text prompts. A demonstration showcased the platform's ability to analyze a patient's microbiology report. Claude Science then generated peptide designs and predicted their effectiveness rapidly. It also provided a prioritized list of promising candidates for experimental validation. While fully functional antibiotics are not yet producible instantly, this democratization is a significant advancement. The tool aims to empower researchers globally, especially those with limited access to advanced computational resources.
