Users can ask Gemini questions about their files and folders directly within the mobile app. This integration allows for conversational responses, similar to the web experience. Mobile users can now utilize Gemini to summarize documents or entire folders for quick overviews. It also enables users to discuss topics by synthesizing information from multiple files. Additionally, Gemini can retrieve quick facts about projects without manual document searching. Admins need to ensure smart features and personalization are enabled for users to access Gemini. End users can find more information in the Help Center. The feature is rolling out to Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains starting September 22, 2025. It is available for various Google Workspace editions and specific add-ons.
