Google Vids, a tool that transforms Google Slides content into engaging videos using AI, is expanding its language support. Previously available only in English, Vids will now also support French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. This enhancement aims to broaden its utility for global users. There are no specific admin or end-user settings required to access this feature. Users can find detailed instructions on how to convert their presentations in the Help Center. The rollout for this expanded language support is staggered. Rapid Release domains began seeing the feature starting June 30, 2026, with a gradual rollout lasting up to 15 days. Scheduled Release domains will experience a full rollout between July 20, 2026, over one to three days. The feature is available across a wide range of Google Workspace editions, including Business, Enterprise, and Education tiers, as well as for consumers with AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions. Additionally, various add-ons and other editions are included in the availability.
