Previously, users had to prompt AI help within each individual app, but now Gemini offers richer integrations for faster work completion. Gemini can generate formatted documents, structured spreadsheets, and stylized slides directly from Gmail, saving them securely to Drive. It also facilitates deep research by synthesizing scattered data into summary reports with source attributions. Gemini can draft and send emails based on meeting notes or documents, and schedule meetings by finding open times and resolving conflicts without leaving the current app. Additionally, it can log reminders or create to-do lists that map directly into Google Tasks. Enterprise-grade security and compliance are built-in, ensuring data confidentiality and respecting user permissions. Gemini presents interactive previews for actions involving external communication or calendar commitments, requiring user review and confirmation. This feature is rolling out gradually and will be available across various Business and Enterprise editions, with some limitations for consumer and other editions.
