Google Vids is enhancing its ability to transform existing Google Slides content into videos. The platform now incorporates Gemini-generated scripts, AI voiceovers, and background music. This expansion aims to make video creation faster and more engaging. Users can initiate this process by opening vids.new and selecting the "Convert Slides" option. After choosing a presentation and specific slides, they can enable a toggle for AI voiceover, script, and background music. Google Vids will then automatically create scenes, add scripts, voiceovers, and music. Further edits, like animations or AI video clips using Veo 3, are also possible. This feature is automatically available to end users and does not require admin controls. The rollout begins on September 23, 2025, for Rapid Release domains and October 7, 2025, for Scheduled Release domains. It is available across various Google Workspace editions and specific add-ons.
