In 2025, U.S. investors invested nearly $32 billion in crypto ETFs, despite market slowdowns. Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw the largest share of inflows, reaching $21.4 billion. BlackRock's IBIT dominated the market, recording approximately $24.7 billion in inflows, far surpassing its competitors. However, excluding IBIT, the broader spot Bitcoin ETF group actually experienced $3 billion in outflows. Ethereum ETFs showed significant interest, with BlackRock's ETHA leading at $12.6 billion, but momentum appeared uneven. Spot Ether ETFs accumulated $9.6 billion after their launch, while Solana ETFs added $765 million. Litecoin and XRP ETFs also emerged, but their investment sums remained small compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum. Global crypto ETFs experienced net outflows in November, although overall global investment remained substantial. Increased regulatory openness helped drive institutional adoption of these products.
