On Tuesday, ABC News' David Muir and Linsey Davis will moderate the first presidential debate between former President Trump and Vice President Harris. The debate follows President Biden's withdrawal from the race and will be the first time voters can compare Trump and Harris directly. Muir, the anchor of "World News Tonight," has interviewed both candidates previously and moderated primary debates. Davis, the anchor of "ABC News Live Prime," has also interviewed both candidates and co-moderated Democratic primary debates. Despite initial disagreement, both campaigns agreed to keep microphones muted during an opponent's turn to speak. The debate will focus on issues such as the economy, healthcare, and foreign policy.
