Deploy Context-Aware Access levels in “Warn” mode

Admins can now select "Warn" as an action for context-aware access (CAA) levels. This allows end users to receive warning messages if they don't meet defined access conditions. Users can click "See details" to understand why they received the warning, such as an outdated operating system. The warning serves as a reminder for users to take action to avoid future access blocks. However, the "Warn" mode does not prevent users from accessing applications and they can proceed despite the warning. This feature educates users about accessing apps in less secure situations and how to fix potential risks. Warning messages will appear to users only once every 48 hours if their device continues to not meet access levels. Events like "Access Warning Sent" and "Access Warning Viewed by User" are available in CAA audit logs. Admins can assign "Warn mode" to existing or new CAA levels within the Admin console. This feature is rolling out starting August 5, 2025, and is available for specific Google Workspace editions.
