The "Knowledge" feature integrates a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture to ground responses in enterprise data. Built on Google Cloud, DB Lumina leverages services like Vertex AI and Discovery Engine for its AI capabilities. The agent incorporates guardrails for compliance and uses a comprehensive evaluation framework for accuracy and reliability. DB Lumina has already saved analysts significant time, increased analysis depth, and opened new avenues for research. The bank plans to expand its use to thousands more employees, further unlocking innovations in financial research.
