DHS Offering $3,000 To Illegal Aliens To Self-Deport As Part Of Holiday Deal

The Department of Homeland Security is offering a $3,000 incentive through the CBP One app for illegal immigrants to voluntarily leave the U.S. This expanded offer is a temporary "holiday deal" tripling the usual $1,000 exit bonus. Secretary Kristi Noem stated that since January 2025, 1.9 million individuals have self-deported, with tens of thousands using the CBP Home program. The app allows for departure without direct interaction with ICE agents and forgives immigration-related fines. Noem urged migrants to take advantage of this offer, warning of future apprehension and permanent bans if they do not comply. Since President Trump's second inauguration, over 2.5 million illegal immigrants have departed, including voluntary departures and deportations. Trump has prioritized increased deportations and enhanced border security measures. The administration is preparing for a significant immigration enforcement push in 2026 with substantial new funding. This funding will support hiring more agents, opening detention centers, and utilizing private companies for tracking. ICE and Border Patrol will receive approximately $170 billion through 2029. White House border czar Tom Homan anticipates a sharp increase in arrests and workplace enforcement. However, some immigration-related orders have faced legal challenges, such as a ruling against expanding expedited deportation processes.
