Did the Olympics turn you into a women’s hockey fan? You’re not alone—and StubHub has a new site for you

The 2026 Winter Olympics saw numerous gold-medal moments for American athletes, including Alysa Liu and Mikaela Shiffrin. The US women's hockey team also won gold, which has had a lasting effect on attendance at Professional Women's Hockey League games. According to StubHub, there has been a 38% year-over-year increase in demand for tickets to PWHL games in the first eight weeks of 2026. This increase is largely due to the US women's team winning gold, with demand for PWHL tickets up nearly 60% compared to pre-Olympic levels. To capitalize on this trend, StubHub is launching HerSportsHub, a centralized site for buying tickets to women's sporting events. HerSportsHub will provide easy access to resale tickets for various women's sports leagues, including the WNBA, NWSL, and NCAA Women's Basketball. The launch of HerSportsHub comes at an opportune time, with the PWHL season ending in April and the NWSL season starting on March 13. The WNBA season is also set to begin on May 8, and March Madness will feature women's games starting on March 18. StubHub has seen a significant increase in demand for women's sports tickets in the past, with a 360% surge in WNBA tickets and a 150% increase in NWSL tickets in 2024 compared to 2023. The company believes that HerSportsHub will provide a dedicated space for fans to find and attend women's sports games, turning their excitement into a live experience.
