Educators and students can now share Gemini Canvas creations directly to Google Classroom
Gemini Canvas now allows educators and students to directly attach various artifacts like websites and quizzes to Google Classroom assignments. This integration streamlines the process of sharing interactive learning materials by offering a "Share to Classroom" button within Gemini Canvas. The feature aims to reduce the effort involved in exporting or linking external files, thereby diversifying lesson plans and enabling more efficient student output sharing. Enriched, interactive media becomes readily accessible within the classroom, fostering a more dynamic digital learning experience. For administrators, this capability is enabled by default and can be managed through the Admin console, also respecting existing Drive sharing policies. User access depends on Gemini being enabled for their group or organizational unit. End users do not require any specific settings to utilize this feature if their administrator has enabled it. The rollout is currently available for both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. This new functionality is accessible for Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals, Standard, and Plus editions. Detailed information and management instructions are available in the Google Workspace Help Center.
