Effortlessly work with ServiceNow data across Google Chat and Sheets
ServiceNow has launched new integrations with Google Chat and Google Sheets to enhance user productivity and data accessibility. The Google Chat integration allows users to interact with ServiceNow's Virtual Agent directly within the chat interface. This enables users to resolve issues, receive automated support, and seamlessly transfer to live agents without leaving the chat. The Google Sheets integration streamlines data export by allowing direct export from ServiceNow to Sheets. This eliminates manual downloads and uploads, enhancing data accessibility and leveraging Sheets' management and visualization features. Administrators must install the Google Chat integration from the ServiceNow store, requiring a specific ServiceNow release. For Google Sheets, administrators need to configure authentication via OAuth. End users can easily access the Google Chat integration by searching for the app name in Google Chat. For Google Sheets, users can export data by navigating to a list in ServiceNow and selecting the Google Sheets export option. This feature requires initial authentication with a Google account. Both integrations are now available to all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google accounts. These updates aim to improve workflow efficiency and data handling for ServiceNow users.
