Sharing attributes can be cross-referenced with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) metadata. This allows for prioritizing remediation of high-risk data. To enable this feature, administrators must activate "External sharing calculations" in the Google Admin console. Organizations with large Google groups should be aware that this may extend report processing times. The rollout for Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains begins on August 14, 2026, with gradual visibility. This feature is available for various Enterprise, Education, and other Plus editions.
