ESMA publishes latest edition of its newsletter

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published its latest edition of the Spotlight on Markets Newsletter, focusing on the effectiveness and attractiveness of capital markets in the context of the ESMA Position Paper launched in May. ESMA Chair's contributions at various events emphasize stimulating investment in the EU and connecting companies and investors to boost the European economy. The Work Programme 2025 outlines ESMA's support for the European Savings and Investment Union and its delivery of numerous mandates, including European Green Bonds, ESG Rating Providers Regulations, and the implementation of MiCA. ESMA announced the next steps for the selection of Consolidated Tape Providers, published translations of the Guidelines on funds' names, and released its second risk monitoring report of 2024.
