She found that volunteering led to many friendships and professional connections within the EuroPython community. In her primary role as Communications Lead for the 2026 edition, Daria manages diverse tasks from team building to media partnerships and web development. She has experienced moments where her team's efforts were recognized by core Python developers and appreciated by the wider community through social media engagement. Daria expresses a strong desire to volunteer again, citing the empowerment to experiment, grow, and contribute to impactful initiatives.
