The Cook Political Report has shifted 15 House races towards Democrats, indicating a tight race for control. Johnson's travel will focus equally on defending Republican seats and targeting Democratic-held districts for potential gains. His campaign swing begins this week in states including Louisiana and New York. This extensive effort follows a similar successful road show in August. Johnson stated Republicans are actively presenting voters with a clear choice against what he describes as "crazy" Democratic policies. He asserts that Democrats have embraced socialism and communism, nominating radical candidates. Furthermore, Johnson has demonstrated strong fundraising capabilities, breaking records for a Republican speaker in a midterm cycle. He recently transferred $13 million to support GOP candidates and the National Republican Congressional Committee. The NRCC currently holds a significant cash advantage over its Democratic counterpart, the largest ever at this stage of an election.
