Google Chat on the web now allows users to send expressive stickers in conversations. Stickers offer an additional way to express oneself alongside existing options like emojis and GIFs. This feature is accessible through the standalone Google Chat web application and within the Gmail interface's Chat tab. There are no administrative controls for this new functionality. Stickers will be enabled by default for all end users. To send a sticker, users simply navigate to the message field in a direct message or space and click the GIF or Sticker icon. The feature is already available for rapid release domains. For scheduled release domains, a gradual rollout will commence on October 2, 2025, taking up to fifteen days to become visible. This new feature is available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.
