Google has expanded the Gemini student hub to include Google Workspace for Education users of all ages. This dedicated hub within the Gemini app helps students organize their learning activities. Students can utilize features like study notebooks, flashcards, and practice quizzes. As Gemini develops more educational tools, they will also be accessible through this same hub. Initially launched for personal accounts, its availability now extends to educational institutions. Administrators manage access to the Gemini app and its learning tools through Generative AI settings in the Workspace Admin console. There are no specific end-user settings for this feature. Users can access the student hub by visiting gemini.google.com/students or through the Gemini app menu. The Gemini student hub is now available to most Google Workspace customers and individuals globally, with the exception of the European Economic Area. Google is also offering a year of Gemini for free to help students begin the academic year.
