Finnish MEP Sebastian Tynkkynen has been banned from entering the United Kingdom. He was scheduled to speak at the inaugural Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Great Britain. Tynkkynen stated his presence was deemed not conducive to the public good. He believes his views on mass migration, which he links to threats against women, are being misconstrued as hate speech. Tynkkynen warns that Britain is becoming the worst example in Europe regarding the decline of free speech. He urged British citizens to change their leadership for the better. Tynkkynen belongs to the Finns Party, a right-wing populist party in Finland. He is also part of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group. This ban follows a pattern of European and US politicians with conservative views being barred from Britain. The Home Office uses the phrase "not conducive to the public good" to justify these travel bans.
