This is Shinu's inaugural post on DEV, introducing herself as a B.Tech CSE student. Her prior experience lies primarily in backend development, utilizing technologies like Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL. She has experience building APIs, managing authentication, databases, and possesses basic Git and Linux skills. Shinu now aims to expand her knowledge beyond application development into the realm of DevOps. She is eager to understand concepts such as containerization, deployment processes, server functionality, and CI/CD automation. Cloud infrastructure's role is another key area she wishes to explore. Currently, Shinu is deepening her Linux knowledge and studying Docker, AWS, and cloud fundamentals. She intends to document her DevOps learning journey publicly on DEV. This documentation will include successes, failures, confusing concepts, and their resolutions. Shinu welcomes feedback and suggestions from the community to enhance her understanding.
