Gemeinsam gegen Geldwäsche: Wie EuroDaT den sicheren Austausch sensibler Finanzdaten ermöglicht
EuroDaT, a subsidiary of Hesse, is pioneering secure data exchange as Europe's first transaction-based data trustee. Their safeAML solution, developed with major banks and powered by Google Cloud, digitizes information sharing for anti-money laundering efforts. This addresses the challenge of exchanging highly sensitive financial data, moving away from error-prone phone calls to a secure, GDPR-compliant digital system. SafeAML allows banks to pseudonymously access necessary data for suspicion verification without EuroDaT ever seeing personal content. Google Cloud's infrastructure on Google Kubernetes Engine provides the necessary security and scalability. The system is currently in pilot testing, accelerating investigations and reducing false alarms. EuroDaT's model extends beyond finance, offering secure data sharing for ESG data and healthcare research. They act as a neutral intermediary, ensuring data sovereignty and controlled access for various sensitive sectors. By partnering with Google Cloud, EuroDaT embeds data protection at the core of digital collaboration. Their goal is to expand network participation for more comprehensive insights into suspicious financial flows.
