Gemini is now available in Google Sheets on Android devices, expanding its data analysis capabilities beyond the web. Users can tap the Gemini spark icon to ask questions, gain insights, and create charts directly from their mobile device. Suggested prompts like "Summarize this table" are provided to guide users. Currently, the mobile feature focuses on analysis and insights, with complex edits and formula generation requiring the web version. No specific admin controls are needed beyond general Gemini for Google Workspace enablement. The feature will be available by default for eligible users on Android devices. A gradual rollout began on September 9, 2026, for both Rapid and Scheduled Release domains. Gemini in Sheets on mobile is available for Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, Google AI Pro for Education, and Google AI Pro and Ultra consumers.
