This feature aims to improve user understanding and foster trust in the generated formulas. Furthermore, Gemini can now identify and explain formula errors. It can then use these error messages to self-correct and generate a functional formula. When appropriate, Gemini will also offer multiple formula options for a given task. This makes formula generation more intelligent and adaptable. To access these features, users need smart features and personalization enabled. Gemini for Sheets can be accessed via the "Ask Gemini" button in the top right corner. This update is already available to all Gemini users. It is included in various Google Workspace and Gemini plans. Previously purchased Gemini add-ons also grant access to this functionality.
