Gemini, Google's AI assistant, is now available as a side panel in Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive. It offers a range of capabilities, including content summarization, analysis, and generation. The side panel interface automatically summarizes your work and provides context-based prompts. Gemini can assist in writing, brainstorming, generating slides, and tracking data. It can also summarize email threads and draft email responses in Gmail. Access Gemini by clicking the "Ask Gemini" button in the app's top right corner. The feature is available to Google Workspace customers with Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, or Education Premium add-ons or Google One AI Premium. It is rolling out to Rapid Release domains starting June 24th and Scheduled Release domains starting July 8th.
