Google is expanding the AI function within Google Sheets to support seven new languages. Users can now leverage Gemini to generate text, summarize data, and analyze information in Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, and German. This feature is available to users who have Gemini in Sheets enabled. Admins can manage access to Gemini features through the Help Center. The rollout will begin gradually for Rapid Release domains on September 23, 2025, and Scheduled Release domains on October 6, 2025. The AI function is included for Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, and Google AI Ultra for Education. Google AI Pro and Ultra, and Gemini Business/Enterprise users also have access. The Gemini Business and Enterprise add-ons are no longer for sale as of January 15, 2025.
