Google Vids now directly integrates Gemini Omni, offering enhanced video generation capabilities. Users can experience significantly higher quality video output compared to prior models. Gemini Omni features improved text rendering, physics, and realism through the Omni Flash model. Its world understanding enables intuitive video editing via simple text commands. You can now instruct Omni to make specific changes to existing videos. For instance, users can adjust color grading or restyle visuals into an anime aesthetic. Background noise, like a siren, can also be removed with a text prompt. However, editing of non-AI generated videos is restricted in certain regions and US states at launch. This new functionality is rolling out gradually to eligible Google Workspace and Google One plans starting mid-July 2026.
