Google Drive now offers thumbnail previews on video progress bars for easier navigation. Google Slides and Google Vids have gained AI image editing features for background removal and expansion. Gemini can now generate images directly within Google Docs on Android devices. Google Drive provides more comprehensive responses for PDF queries thanks to a larger context window. Google Keep on Android allows users to sort notes by creation or modification date. Gemini in Gmail on mobile now enables quick event additions to Google Calendar from emails. Google Meet has introduced a full-screen option for presentations and screen sharing. Suggested next steps in Google Meet's "Take notes for me" feature now support multiple languages. Google Drive offers more efficient AI model training for data classification with multi-model support and on-demand training. NotebookLM has introduced Video Overviews for creating engaging explainer videos from documents. Google Meet now features automatic room check-in via proximity detection for companion mode users. Audit logs for certain Google Meet hardware settings have been updated, with more changes to reboot and alert settings planned. Google Meet logs now indicate the encryption type used for call endpoints. Admins can export Gemini Audit logs to BigQuery for analysis. Granular OAuth consent is expanding to more Apps Script execution types. Google Chat and Microsoft Teams now have enhanced interoperability through NextPlane. Developers can build a single app across various Workspace applications using the Workspace add-ons framework. An approval workflow is available for enterprise users to request access to unconfigured apps. Admins can now deploy Context-Aware Access levels in "Warn" mode. The Gemini app offers new study tools for a more effective learning experience. Gemini can now be used to create personalized, illustrated storybooks with read-aloud narration. NotebookLM and Gems are being integrated with Gemini LTI for educational use. NotebookLM is now accessible to all education users, and Gemini for Education users receive increased limits for Gemini 2.5 Pro at no extra cost.
