How to make sure you see Fast Company articles first on Google
Fast Company is introducing a new way for readers to find its content through Google searches. Google has launched a "Preferred Sources" feature allowing users to select specific news outlets. This feature ensures that when you search for news, Fast Company articles relevant to your query will appear higher in the results. Currently, you can access this by visiting a provided Google link. On this page, you will see Fast Company pre-selected, and you simply need to click the checkbox next to it. Alternatively, you can add Fast Company as a preferred source by clicking the star icon next to the "Top Stories" header on a Google search results page. After making your selection, refreshing your search results should prioritize Fast Company's coverage. Google also plans to introduce a dedicated "From Your Sources" section. This new functionality aims to make Google search results more personalized and reflective of the user's preferred news outlets. Users can add other favorite sites to further customize their search experience.
