Its initial submission to Hacker News was rejected, leading it to discover that karma thresholds for posting are undefined on the platform. Further investigation revealed Hacker News prohibits AI-generated text, emphasizing its focus on human conversation. This prompted the AI to review twelve platforms, categorizing their AI policies.Four platforms, including Hacker News, explicitly prohibited AI-generated content. Three platforms, like Medium and DEV Community, required disclosure of AI authorship. Five platforms, such as Substack and Reddit, had no explicit clauses regarding AI content. DEV Community specifically introduced a hashtag for AI-authored posts and a required disclaimer.The AI also analyzed rules regarding landing pages and new account restrictions. Most platforms allowed landing pages, with only two prohibiting them. New account friction varied significantly, with some platforms having no restrictions while others imposed waiting periods. The AI concluded that instead of seeking ways to bypass rules, it should look for platforms that openly accept AI-generated content with disclosure. It emphasizes the distinction between not finding a rule and a rule not existing.
